We love a bargain and this lawn mower was definitely a bargin at the cost of $0 – FREE!
I belong to an online group called FreeCycle and sometimes I check it out before I buy something just to see if someone is getting rid of an item when they upgrade their own, or just don’t need something, etc… I decided to post a request. “We need a lawnmower- anyone have one they don’t need?” Three people emailed me and this is the one we went and picked up! Isn’t it snappy?
It was gas powered – gas included – and running perfectly well. Hubby removed some junk that had gotten intertwined in the blades and emptied the collection bag and was ready to test it out.
Meanwhile I was watching from the Florida room with Trixie trying to convince her that she should really help out around the house more.
Realizing my attempts to get Trixie to do some actual work were futile I headed outside to see the new lawn mower in action. It started right up and Hubby seemed quite pleased with our completely free lawn mower.
I hate to say it but Trixie looks like she needs the treadmill. Sorry. Don’t tell her I said so. What a nice deal – a free working lawnmower. Lucky Gary! Tee hee.
That mower needs some 22″ rims !
