It’s spring time and the bears are hungry and looking for food.
Here is an article about a close encounter of the bear kind.
Note the streets in the article — Hubby’s parents and grandparents live…. you guessed it… right there. LOL! Hubby’s Grandpa called my in-laws early in the morning to let them know he had seen a bear. This is the second or third bear in a couple weeks. The first was a baby bear stuck in a tree by the elementary school and another was eating Easter candy out of the dumpster where Hubby’s Ma works.
Grandpa is one of our finest nature reporters out there in Warren County, NJ. Whether it’s a ornery deer munching on his garden, an ugly wake of buzzards in the pine trees, or a hungry black bear passing through, he keeps tabs on them all and lets everyone know whats going on!
saw a bear today driving back from shoprite
caught it in the corner of my eye. At first i thought it was a big ass dog, since it was in someones back lawn. The moment i started to pass it, it started running toward the trees… wish i had my camera wit me…i probably would of turned around then.. hah
Even a few weeks ago we had one outside our house enjoying the bird feeders. I didn’t realize it was a bear til i saw the bird feeders torn off the tree the next morning. Dogs were barking the night it happen, but didn’t figure it was anything outiside…Dogs 1, Me 0 =P

No photos twice?!? I hear those bears are really out and about by you guys better keep the dogs inside and whatnot.
yeah, the dogs are inside unless we are outside. And the time the bear was at the house, it was like 10pm. So i couldn’t see anything, even if there was a bear
I’m a bit more worried about the cats when they are outside, since we have foxes living under my neighbor shed. I have yet to see them though. But i was told there are like 4-5 babies. i must get some pix of them soon
